A Barn Wedding With Herbs & Potted Plants
Purple and green were our main wedding colours, green especially as the engagement ring is an emerald stone. The barn we married in and that area of Suffolk is so beautiful, that we didn’t need to add much in terms of decor. We wanted a very natural, flowery, green look for our big day so we added lots of flowers, herbs and local plants to the overall look. Trees covered the barn which created a forest effect, this was a nice touch as we got engaged in a redwood forest.

Wedding Barn
Our wedding venue was Henham Barns in Suffolk. Sarah grew up in the area and it was always on her radar as the first choice for a wedding venue.
Wedding Dress
My wedding dress by Anna Campbell was beautifully made and tailored perfectly to me and has really lovely detailing on it. It was also super comfy!
Wedding Song
My father walked me down the aisle to At Last by Etta James.
Wedding Decor
Our wedding decor was an array of flowers/trees/herbs and foliage from Sarah’s mum’s garden.
Wedding Favours
Sarah’s mum also made homemade Damson Gin as wedding favours.
Photography
Lisa and Neil Photography were our wedding photographers and they were epic!
Wedding Photos
Our photos are everything we could have hoped for. They were also really great on the day, half the time we forgot they were there! Yet they captured everything!
What a wonderful barn wedding, I love the use of potted plants and herbs in weddings. How about you?
