Celebrating a lifetime of friendship: The Bestie Getaway

Celebrating a lifetime of friendship: The Bestie Getaway

THE INSPIRATION

This elegant bridal editorial is full of glamourous and luxury details complemented with a blush and powder blue colour palette and a hint of gold.

Luxus Events and Eva Tarnok Photography brought together a talented team of industry professionals, to inspire brides on how to spend some pre-wedding time with their best friends. With elegance and sophistication that can be easily incorporated into their wedding weekend.

The photos were captured by fine art photographer Eva Tarnok in her distinctive light and romantic style.

The Bestie Getaway experience is designed for brides who want to take a break from wedding planning and enjoy themselves with their special friends.

A pre-wedding photoshoot or a brunch before the wedding are ideal ways to unwind and relax, spend some quality time with friends and make some pre-marriage memories. Pre-wedding shoots are also a great way to feel a little more gorgeous.

Our aim with this editorial was to capture the unique link that exists between brides and their best friends, as well as the delight they share in celebrating each other’s success and happiness.

Just because someone marries doesn’t mean their friendship has to end. People can still set aside time for one another and create more meaningful memories.

THE VENUE

This elegant shoot took place at Hedsor House, Vogue & Tatler’s dream wedding venue, in the magnificent bridal dressing room, one of the largest and most luxurious bridal suites in Europe.

From the beautiful hand-crafted four-poster bed and private balcony to the panoramic views over the estate, every aspect of the suite has been meticulously designed to ensure an elegant and unforgettable stay.

This stunning Georgian mansion with over 100 acres of private parkland and Grade II listed gardens is only a short distance from London.

The majestic Georgian manor house perfectly blends the breath-taking architectural design of the era with stylish contemporary features, making it a one-of-a-kind venue globally.

We could not resist photographing the bride in the famous marble onyx bathroom complete with a roll-top bath.

ATTIRE

During the bridal morning, our bride and her closest friend took some fun photos in breath-taking Stephanie Allin Rose and Morgan gowns accessorised with Jesus Peiro and Halfpenny London Organza Bow Jackets, amplifying the grandeur of this already luxurious venue.

THE DETAILS

BloomsFair created a unique floral installation for the four-poster bed and sofa in the bridal dressing room. The installation consisted of roses, seasonal blooms and ivy, that symbolise friendship, loyalty, and affection. Because both are exceedingly sturdy and resilient, ivy and solid friendship go hand in hand.

The stunning invitations with a silver bow and personalised bookmarks were designed by Dimitria Jordan. Monannie Cakes created a beautiful cake adorned with a delicate sugar flower arrangement and a custom couple monogram.

SUMMARY

The Bestie Getaway exemplifies the bond that binds friends. It is a wonderful way to be able to stay close, catch up and enjoy each other’s company before the big day.

These vacations with your besties might become a joyful tradition that you can continue after the wedding, sharing much more laughter and wonderful moments together as you celebrate triumphs and important milestones in life. Things will change once you are married, but your friends will always be there for you.

Hmm, we think it’s time for a girly get-together!

International Friendship Day is on Saturday, 30 July 2022 – are you going to celebrate with your bestie?
