Industrial 'Night-Out' Wedding With Vivid Pops of Colour: Josh & Nina

Nina & Josh wanted to throw a bash that resembled a night out on the town after being together for 7 years. Every detail was selected to be funky, club-like and of course, glamorous.

Josh is a down-to-earth country boy and Nina is a “girly girl” so pulling their wedding theme together cohesively while also representing their personalities was a challenging affair! There were many neon and luxury details to represent Nina’s fun yet chic personality, and there were many industrial features as a call-back to Josh’s preferred lifestyle: fresh air and a motorcycle.

The couple spared no expense with their florals and jewellery as you will be able to see from the sheer skill of the vendors involved. The Benari ring was made custom as a collaborative effort of the bride and groom, and the florals were a legendary work of art that has been taking social media by storm! The feel of their wedding was definitely club meets, glam meets industrial!

“When we walked into the cocktail hour space there were neon lights and champagne towers and it was set up like a high-end club in the city. When we walked into the reception it was soft, and glamorous with beautiful flowers, yet very modern and industrial since we were overlooking the Bethlehem steel stacks. It was a dream!!” Nina, the bride.

Bridal Attire

My figure hugging wedding dress was by Pronovias and was chosen from Kleinfeld Bridal, I accessorised with a pair of classic Christian Louboutin’s and I wore my mother in laws bracelet as my something borrowed – she has really brought me in like her own daughter and it meant so much that I could wear it!

Wedding Venue

Our chosen wedding venue was The Steel Stacks in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was chosen because it combined glamorous and industrial vibes, which represented both Josh, who is a nature-loving country boy and myself, the glamorous girly girl.

When the wedding day came, Emily was on it, I didn’t have to give her any direction, she knew how to capture the moments, the day, the emotions and the love. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the photos, looking at them instantly transports us back to that day, feeling that same happiness, excitement and joy. We love you Emily! Thank you for the best gift, our memories captured with a lens.

As soon as I saw the florists work, I felt like they were next level and nothing could hold a candle to them! I knew that my florist was perfect for our wedding!

We also chose instead of a gift or favors, to donate to the semi colon project, a charity that is close to both of our hearts!

Our Love Story

This love story was long in the making!

We met over 17 years ago, attending the same High School. We were in different crowds but crossed paths a few times. We’d even been to the same party at one point and kissed, but never spoken again!

Several years later, I had become single after a long term relationship in my late twenties and Josh and I were both on dating apps. He messaged me on “Plenty of Fish” and we started to talk. He asked me out multiple times and I kept saying no. Finally he broke me down and I agreed to a date. We met, and some may say the stars aligned and we have been together ever since!

Josh was so charming, so kind, so funny, respectful, sweet I really could not believe how grateful I was that we went on that date! We have been on a roller coaster of life for the last 7 years, and we could not be happier.

We have grown into the best version of ourselves, always lifting up the other one when they are down, and we have the cutest little family with our two dogs! Now we are husband and wife, planning a family and excited for the future!
