The inspiration behind the shoot was the Pantone colour of the year for 2024 – Peach Fuzz, but we wanted to make it a little different. Peach is so often thought of as a summery/spring colour by couples and we wanted to show how it would work as part of a different colour palette. We loved the idea of teaming the peach with the deeper teal and the accent of gold, to give couples an idea of how they may want to use the colour for an autumn/winter wedding. Wedding season isn’t just May to September anymore and we wanted to inspire couples who were looking to hold their weddings outside of the traditional ‘season’. I personally love winter and autumnal weddings as they give couples the opportunity to style their wedding in a different way, and they have a very different vibe to summer nuptials.

The Oak Barn at Frame Farm was the perfect location for the shoot, it is everything you could want in a wedding venue – a stunning setting, created with such fantastic attention to detail and a great team! The venue ensured that all of the suppliers (unless posting items) were within an hour of the venue, to be as sustainable as possible. The aim of this shoot was to also show couples how they could make the most of the venue’s gorgeous pole barn on their wedding day, so we decided to host the ceremony and drinks reception elements of the shoot with the rustic log pile as the backdrop. The shoot was expertly captured by Lauren Beth Photography and Lauren at Luxe Videography; they understood exactly what we were looking for, ensuring that the natural beauty of our location (and models) shone through, whilst also creating stunning imagery.
The styling of the shoot was really inspired by the natural elegance of the setting, using minimal decoration to enhance what was already there. The use of foliage and candles for the ceremony created a simple, yet stunning back drop – complete with a beautiful welcome sign from The Friendly Paper Co. Becky at Bridal Wild, created a gorgeous foliage arch which framed the ceremony area where Nikki from Perfect Words Ceremonies conducted the service. I have a thing about live music and so it was essential that we included this in the shoot – having the amazingly talented Robyn Taylor perform as our couple walked down the aisle was magical! Shropshire Petals created a unique mix of their natural petals for our confetti shot – showcasing the colour palette beautifully!
The focus for the drinks reception was to highlight the importance of the guest experience on your wedding day. Again, we had live music from Robyn – this time in the form of the saxophone, and we had a beautiful seating area from Locate to Create to show where guests could relax and enjoy the music. We combined their Contemporary seating area with a range of their side tables and a gorgeous bureau along with gold wire lanterns to complete the reception area. Food and drink was an important part of the shoot, Home Gurrown created gorgeous themed cocktails that looked amazing in the glassware from Black Saucers (including the cocktail tower – which we had to try to stop from being blown over!) and delicious canapes which were beautifully presented. Instead of a traditional seating plan, we had exquisitely hand carved eggs from Hatchfully Yours to create a truly unique escort table. Each egg was completed with a calligraphy name card, hand-written by Charlotte at Blissfully Yours, which would direct guests to their table for the wedding breakfast.
Our Bride was dressed in the gorgeous Roseville gown by Freda Bennett, provided by Vicki’s Bridal Boutique and accessorised with stunning hand-made shoes by Di Hassall and beautiful jewellery from Jacqui Larsson. Sarah Katzaros created a natural, dewy look for the make-up, which worked perfectly with the gorgeous up do by Liz at Simply Beautiful Wedding Hair, showcasing the gorgeous dress and the exquisite jewellery. The bridal look was completed with the stunning bouquet from Bridal Wild, adorned with a gorgeous teal ribbon. Our groom was in a modern suit from Twisted Tailor – which incorporated teal in the design. However, we kept the look quite classic with a black bow tie, white shirt and black lace up shoes.
