Inspiration: this Botanical-Chic shooting style was inspired by the idea of creating something greenery-like, but also romantic and sophisticated.
A chic reinterpretation of the typically botanical style, a vision of a secret garden where one can fall in love, get married, run away and then meet again, amidst green leaves and an all-encompassing evocative atmosphere.
The mood: intense green shades have been combined with metalized gold, for an enhancing and bright effect. The idea was to not darken, but rather to enhance the contrast between the colours of nature and the golden light.
The location: The Venice Boscolo Hotel (Autograph Collection) was carefully selected. It is one of the very few Eighteenth century private gardens in Venice, also suitable for a wedding party. Hence this unusual vision of Venice, which has been associated with an unconventional style for the city.
The bride: The refined beauty of the bride, Sarah Bianchi – an Italian fashion blogger – is enhanced by the classic and timeless style of her dress and a perfect make-up for her ruddy complexion and natural nuances.
The ambiance: Every single detail, from the table setting to the tasting of confetti and the cake, is the perfect combination of a natural and botanical style with the brightness and glamour of the golden details: the graphics, the suffused candlelight and the flower arrangement followed these guidelines, thus creating a unique and original shooting style.
