We wanted a ceremony in front of our closest family and friends overlooking the Castello di Poppi in the Tuscan hills.
As well as a wedding with a lovely view, we wanted our day to be rustic and very romantic.
A destination wedding is a magical experience and it is not so complicated to plan if you have a good event planner.
My Father walked me down the aisle to ‘You Raise Me Up’ by Josh Groban.
We became engaged one year before the wedding, the proposal happened in Tokyo at a traditional Japanese Restaurant.
Our wedding photographer was Nicola Tonolini and we love the images she captured.
My wedding dress was a Tara Keely design, and I loved it. It made me feel like a princess.
Our florist was Flowers Living and we had rustic chic florals with a very natural look.
To thank our guests, we gave them wedding favours of limoncello bottles.
We planned a BBQ before the wedding and a brunch the day after the wedding.
Our wedding cake was an Italian wedding cake – a Millefeuille – prepared by the catering Galateo and it was delicious.
