Concept
The concept for this editorial shoot was to share the story of a couple hosting their intimate wedding day within a beautiful historic setting, Ingatestone Hall. Showcasing how they drew wedding inspiration from the venue’s stunning interior to create an elegant, charming, romantic yet achievable wedding day, incorporating a striking array of florals designed by Rosie from Rose Decor Styling and images wonderfully captured by Anna from Photography by Anna-Marie.
Style
In keeping with our elegant & romantic theme we chose two exquisite bridal gowns by British designer Suzanne Neville for our bride as well as a pair of stunning embellished bridal heels from Emmy London. Our groom and best man each wore classic black tie from Zebel Tailors, with our bridesmaid’s stunning backless blue gown a further creation by Susanne Neville.
The bride & bridesmaids’ hair and makeup and bridal accessories each by Team Glam were created to reflect & enhance the overall romantic and elegant feel running through the shoot.
Venue
Ingatestone Hall is one of Essex’s best-kept secrets. Discreetly nestled amongst open countryside, surrounded by ten acres of enclosed gardens and retaining its original Tudor form, Ingatestone Hall lends itself as the perfect venue for couples wishing to hold a large marquee wedding within its beautifully manicured gardens or a smaller more intimate celebration hosted within the hall.
Wedding Breakfast
The stunning stone hall with its original brick mullioned windows was the perfect location for our wedding breakfast set up. Drawing inspiration from the interiors in the room, Hayley from Hayley Jayne Weddings and Events worked with Duchess and Butler to select tableware that perfectly enhanced the room’s natural beauty. Vintage lace china, Grace Matt Gold cutlery and sophisticated long-stemmed glassware from Duchess & Butler’s Lily range paired with Just 4 Linen’s urbane linen & napkins was the perfect table decor. Further enhanced by an exquisite floral display of quicksand, avalanche, dorchester and garden roses accompanied by an abundance of carnations, delphiniums and hydrangeas in understated and elegant muted tones. Each was arranged on tall gold stands to create striking centrepieces for our wedding breakfast table, which was further complimented with Ester & Erik tapered candles, the ultimate luxury addition.
Of course, no wedding breakfast table is complete without beautiful stationery and ours was no exception. Dimitria Jordan understood the brief perfectly and designed a stylish stationery suite, table stationery as well as a delightful bar menu.
Extra Details
Our stunning square four-tier cake adorned with lashings of delicate sugar roses was a beautiful creation by Sam from Crumbs to Creation and looked incredible when displayed in Ingatestone Hall’s courtyard surrounded by a beautiful floral meadow as well as elegant pillar candles.
COO Jewellers provided a stunning collection of jewellery, including wedding bands for our bride and groom.
Vows Vehicles of Wedding Style’s stunning 1966 Aston Martin DB6 was the perfect backdrop for our couple portraits, groom and best man images, and a collection of luxury images of our adorable bride.
