An Elegant Backyard Wedding With Breathtaking Outdoor Tent

Unexpectedly, Alyssa and Samuel found themselves sharing a 500-square-foot space during COVID. Samuel had just moved into Alyssa’s New York City apartment near the end of 2019, but despite the cozy living quarters, they quickly realized how easy it was to coexist together.

One day Samuel took Alyssa to Central Park, where he proposed. He surprised her with a picnic where friends and family were waiting to celebrate the news!

This elegant wedding welcomed the fall season with inviting energy, held in Alyssa’s parents’ backyard at their family estate. The space included beautifully landscaped details of stone stairways and flourishing trees. Making their entrance down the stone steps and through the lawn, the wedding procession walked through the yard to an elaborate altar made from florals.

Alyssa’s oversized bouquet of brown and white roses made way for an earthy but elegant color palette. In true Grace Loves Lace fashion, Alyssa’s wedding gown gave off an effortless, romantic energy with delicate lace detailing. Most notably, the reception moved to the outdoor tent with a soft-as-air feeling inside. The wedding tent hire was so easy to organise.

Linens and decor were bright and neutral in shades of white and beige. Florals cascaded from the ceiling chandeliers and made gentle statements along the tablescapes of roses and smaller wildflower blooms. Alyssa utilized her skills as a graphic designer to create all the stationery and signage herself, all the way down to pressing her own wax-sealed invitations.
