Watercolour wedding inspirations are simply delicious and very, very unique. If you want to create a fun, artsy and insanely romantic vibe for your wedding day, I can’t think of anything dreamier than a watercolour palette.
The sky really is the limit for your colour scheme choice too. In the inspiration board below I’ve chosen purples, blues and pinks as I think they are particularly pretty. The key to making this work is to play around with the opacity. Use block and translucent colours! The opacity of the colours can move from the bright, brights to the faded pretty.
The perfect place to set the tone for this ‘theme’ is definitely your wedding stationery and can be carried right through to your wedding cake and your wedding favours. When considering wedding apparel, I would say the ombré look is perfectly complementary to the watercolour theme. Think graduated hues, colours that blend from one shade to the next and dip dye gorgeousness.

Bright and clashing colours look super awesome too! Why not have a go at making your own watercolour wedding favour tags?

I adore the use of this turquoise and pink on these pretty escort cards and the watercolour wedding cake below is just so darn pretty!

Oh my, this is really pretty! The watercolour idea is brilliant and I just loved the color-splattered bow tie. Let us not forget the lovely cake! The board is simple yet it gives you a feeling of serenity and satisfaction. Turquoise and pink will be forever loved! These colors are like married couple, they compliment each other well.
