Rustic Beach Chic | Wedding Inspiration

When I think of pretty beach wedding inspiration, I usually think of tropical beaches with the sun beaming down and beautiful petals strewn across the sand … yet I’ve also had holidays where a destination bride and groom have popped to the beach to have a few snaps taken and I’ve always wondered why the bride and groom are dressed up to the nines in garms that wouldn’t be out of place at a British winter wedding… Thankfully, wedding inspiration has moved on heaps and there are many different ways to have a lovely beach shindig.

My beachy wedding inspiration today is… Rustic Beach Chic! Imagine… windswept beaches with barely a soul and a slightly moody, overcast sky. Bare feet on cool sand. A whimsical, dreamy wedding gown blowing in the breeze. Washed up bottles as wedding favours . Lots of use of organic, earthy props and materials. The colour palette could be washed out whites and rustic browns with a hint of the palest blue and sea-foam green.
