  1. I am having a very small (6 people) trip to the registry office for my wedding, and have recently found the greatest 50s dress in warehouse to wear for an absolute bargain. This headpiece would go with it fabulously and really give a relatively small event a sense of occasion (I think my mum is terrified it won’t be ‘special’!). I’m not splashing out and am really struggling to find a registry office outfit on my tiny student budget.

  2. Ahhh yay – the much lusted after neon light! (and in a second, the new discovery of Kelly Spence bridal headpieces!)

I’d kill to get my hands on the love-light!!! My almost-husband and I are having a December wedding this year, and are enjoying trying to find lots of pretty ways to light our venue seeing as it’s going to get pretty dark pretty early… I’m already imagining the uber-cool neon light being use in the photo-booth area we’re planning to set up, and perhaps we’ll even get a little neon love shoot-style photos of our own…

    Fingers crossed! :)

*runs off to try and persuade friends to wear yellow eye-shadow and bright pink petticoats to the wedding…

  3. Shameless second entry for the Kelly Spence headdress too – and extra excited to see that I’ve actually already pinned a few of her pieces on Pinterest – (the countess veil and the floral lace band are soooooo beautiful!)

After settling on a very beautiful but very simple Watters dress, I’m on the hunt for something a little special to wear in my hair and this could be it! I’m a HUGE fan of bows, and the details makes it pretty and sparkly enough to fit in with our ‘twinkly’ winter wedding (does ‘twinkly’ count as a ‘theme’?!).

I love love LOVED the neon shoot, and the little stir it seemed to cause in my Twitter feed.

Lot’s of luck to all the other contestants – what amazing prizes! :)

  4. That lamp would find a deserving home in my paws so that I could give it to my ever-vintage-loving girlfriend on our 10th anniversary this year. We’ve been together since high school (we were 15 when we met!) and I know she would be Over. The. Moon. to have the love sign and it would make me a happy man to win it for her! And plus, it sums up 10 years of what we’ve been doing :)

  5. Oh! I don’t have a story like anyone else. I just really really love the lamp! Thought it would look fab in my cake shop but other people seem more deserving of it than me so good luck! Jem x
    P.S. It’s a beautiful lamp!

  6. I LOVE the neon light!!!!!! I am obsessed with cool lighting( making my dad cover my room with fairy lights as a kid!!) My colour theme is a bright pinky/ purple and would be a super addition to our marquee!!! It’s quirky, different and a one off just how I would like my day to be Xxxxxx

  7. I would love love love to win these goodies. Not for me, but for my big sister.

She has been an absolute gem over the last few years, helping me through university and most recently supporting me in my big move down south for my first grown up job.

She’s currently in the process of buying a house and completing her MA, whilst giving me permission to help plan her wedding!

To say thank you, I’d love to win this competition.

    A xx

  8. I would love to win the neon love lamp to give to my partner on our 5th anniversary that falls two weeks before our wedding!
He has worked so hard with me over the past 16 months to plan our big day and it hasn’t always been easy (thanks to other people) so a neon love lamp would be the perfect bright pressie to show him how much I love and adore him! X

  9. I deserve the neon light because, although I’m already married, I live in a truly depressing house- all dark corners! This gorgeous baby would cheer my house (and me) up immensely. On top of that, we are hoping to renew our wedding vows soon, and we would be able to use this luscious light at our ‘wedding’ too! x

  10. Hi Sonia.

I would love to win the Kelly Spence birdcage veil :)
Last week, after months of stalking ebay,I finally found my dream dress. It’s a 50′ s style short dress and the birdcage style veil would go perfectly with it. I personally wouldn’t be able to afford something so gorgeous so to win this would be AMAZING and really make my partner and I so happy. Good luck to all the brides to be who enter :) Soph x

I adore bows and the birdcage style is right up my sttret

  11. I would be over the moon Sonia to win your neon love sign, I can just picture it now in the marquee, posing for pics with it whilst dancing to all the old school tunes, we are planning a right little rave up! I love it so much and so will my other half as he was an original hard core raver in the late 80’s and early 90’s so this would be right up our street :) xxx good luck everyone xxx

  12. Ooooooh that love sign. I love that love sign.

I don’t know whether I deserve to win it but it would go to a good home – I’m a wedding photographer and I’d proudly display it in my little office and look at it while editing photos of my wonderful couples (although making sure the pink light doesn’t make my eyes go funny and my editing go wrong!).

I’m also getting married myself this year and I’d love to have that sign as a feature of my wedding. Maybe I’ll put it on my cake baking competition table!
