Real Wedding

Eclectic: understated vintage | real wedding

OMG! I could gush and gush and gush about this beauuuuutiful wedding I’m sharing today. Firstly the bride and groom make a gorgeous couple. Sophie looks stunning in her Belle & Bunty ‘The Petal’ dress and Adam cuts a cool figure in a stylish Frencheye suit. Secondly, the venue. Tithe Barn in Petersfield is one of those venues that needs very little doing to it ~ as it’s already spectacularly stunning. Thirdly, I love the styling of Sophie’s bridesmaids. They all wore individual high street dresses in pale muted tones with matching nude platform pumps, which complemented the understated style of the wedding perfectly. Last but not least, the beautiful, understated wedding decor and flowers set the beautiful 16th century barn off… and I adore the tube station names used for the table reception names {I’m afraid, you’ll need to wait for part 2 to see :) }.

Of course, I couldn’t go without mentioning Georgi Mabee, their talented wedding photographer who excelled herself capturing the beauty of Sophie and Adam’s day, Sophie had this to say…

‘Adam and I met through friends. We were together for around 2 ½ years when Adam proposed to me on a trip back to NZ on my favourite beach – Omaha, where I spent summer holidays growing up. He asked my Mum and my Brother for permission beforehand!’Eclectic: understated vintage | real wedding

‘Adam and I could not have hoped for more perfect photos for our wedding. Not only did Georgi capture some absolutely beautiful portrait and group shots in extremely challenging weather conditions, but also those wonderful little moments throughout the day when people were unaware the camera was on them. Cheeky smiles and laughs, and lovely tender moments between Adam and I, and our friends and family – which for us was really special’

‘We love how Georgi’s photos tell the story of our day – right down to the smallest details. It’s wonderful to have them to share with our loved ones, especially those who couldn’t make it on the day’

‘Georgi took the time to really listen to us, and understand what we wanted from our photos. She was friendly and professional and I could not recommend her highly enough’

‘I’d tried on so many corseted, traditional wedding dresses and they just weren’t me. As soon as I tried on the dresses at Belle and Bunty I knew I was on to a winner. The Petal dress is so elegant and feminine. I fell in love with it right away’Eclectic: understated vintage | real wedding An eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real wedding

‘We took inspiration from our venue and its surroundings. The Tithe barn sits in a meadow in the county. We wanted to use wildflowers that looked like they could have been picked in the surrounding fields’

‘We chose the venue because it was close to where Adam grew up and we both fell in love with it when we saw it. Being from NZ, I liked the idea of having a very English wedding, and the 16th Century barn seemed like the perfect place’An eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real weddingAn eclectic & understated boho vintage real wedding
