I created Lola & I in 2011 following my move to France with my husband Nat and our little Jackahuahua Lola (whom the business is named after).
But before I get into all that I’ll let you know a brief history of me and my background in wedding jewellery.
I grew up in Newbury and later moved to Kent to study at the Kent Institute of Art and Design, Rochester, where I completed a degree in Silversmithing, Goldsmithing and Jewellery Design (and very importantly met my lovely husband Nat).
Following this I began making and designing jewellery for the prestigious bridal jewellery company Yarwood-White. It was here that I discovered a love for wire work and beading and now use it alongside a variety of materials to create beautiful statement jewellery
It was when Yarwood-White closed for a break in the Summer of 2011 that Nat & I decided to take the plunge and move out to France and “Lola & I” was born.
I love creating high impact jewellery and accessories, especially for brides. It feels really special to be involved in the lead up to such an important day and so I couldn’t deny myself continuing along this route.

The Persephone Collection is named after the Greek goddess Persephone who was thought to be the bringer of winter. Although suitable for all times of year, I think this sparkly collection does lean towards a winter bride and have an almost snowflake like appearance. All the pieces in this collection are made with a mixture of Swarovski Crystals, Swarovski pearls, and fresh water pearls with silver plated wire.
The Aphrodite Collection was named after the Greek goddess of love as it exudes beauty. It has a really natural feel to it and would look perfect worn at a beach wedding. All items are made with a mixture of freshwater pearls and Swarovski pearls with a few scattered crystals.
The Hera Collection Is named after the Greek goddess Hera, queen of the gods, wife of Zeus and goddess of marriage. It is a beautiful sparkly collection with a real vintage feel. Again all items in this collection are made with a mixture of fresh water pearls, Swarovski Crystals and Swarovski Pearls on silver plated wire.
