I have a brand. new. obsession. Coloured glass. It is soooo beautiful and the perfect accompaniment to your wedding decor.
Use coloured glass to inject pretty bursts of colour into your wedding day… be that with translucent glass crockery… plates, glasses, wine glasses, pretty coloured bottles or a whole array of other glassware…
Go colour mad with beautiful blues, greens, purples and pinks…

Or maybe choose a natural colour palette using pale ambers, yellows, browns and earthy greens?
Vintage pink depression glass is an absolute fave of mine!

Moroccan tea glasses used to serve sweet beverages or as twinkling tea lights will certainly add an exotic feel to your day.

Or how about a modern and contemporary glass table setting? This table looks ultra bright and vibrant!

Coloured glassware can liven up your table settings, add interest to your floral centerpieces and will also look super pretty used on your dessert / buffet tables and / or props set ups.

If you want a wedding with lots of vintage / shabby chic coloured glassware, you’ll need to start collecting asap. Scour second hand shops, car boot sales and regularly check out ebay. For vintage inspired reproduction pieces check out anthropologie, ikea and not on the high street.
There are a few wedding hire companies out there that hire contemporary glassware and if anyone reading this knows where to get their little mitts of these types of glass pieces… please do share (you can do that in the comments section).
I hope you are as in love with coloured glass as I am?
What a lovely article! We at Lavender and Linen specialise in hiring vintage glassware – please visit our website if you would like to find out more. We also offer a finding service for those who have their heart set on pieces they don’t have time to find!

Ooo fantastic! Can you find pink depression glass pieces? XxX
We certainly can. Prices vary enormously depending on the quality – they are beautiful for dressing tables and adding that lovely unique element to a wedding- some of the images in your article are so pretty!
Other colours such as blue and amber are a slightly more budget friendly way of using vintage glass. Emerald greens are also proving popular this year!
What a great way to enhance your colour theme for your wedding. Love the natural colours!
Thanks for your comment! It’s so pretty isn’t it :)
