The gorgeous Beatrice & Angelo married in the super romantic surroundings of Lago di Garda, Italy. They had a beautiful, contemporary and incredibly romantic Italian styled wedding that had a subtle silver theme. Let’s hear all about the day from our lovely bride Beatrice…

I love classic dresses like Grace Kellys wedding dress and I also love lace so I wanted that style of dress. I chose short arms because the weather in Italy was meant to be warm.
My dress was made by a friend of my sisters from scratch. I did the design and then we choose the fabric together.
I thought it would be too much, all the lace with a veil, so I chose beautiful hair jewellery from the 1940s instead.
For my wedding shoes I wore wedges. I can’t understand why everybody doesn’t choose them as they are so comfortable and you also get the height.
We found beautiful flowers images on Pinterest, and I knew we wanted the same.
My Dad walked me down the aisle to, By Your Side – Sade (it was beautiful! even the photographer cried :) )
Our wedding photographer Francesca Secolonovo was amazing! We are SO happy, she took incredible pictures, was so professional and we could not be happier!!
I found the bridesmaid dresses in a store in Sweden. We had a silver theme, so I thought the dresses were perfect and all my bridesmaids loved them too.
We wanted a chocolate cake, so we had that with liquor inside. We also knew that we wanted a white cake, it is so beautiful when you cut the white outside and it’s brown inside. We also needed a little bling (my choice!) so we had bling all around the cake.
We had an Italian band that was called Non siamo il sposi.
Our first dance was At Last – Etta James. We love that song, and it was kind of funny to have that song too.
The most memorable moments of our day were… when we walked into the “chapel” and everyone cried, all the emotional speeches and THE PARTY!
If I could impart any words of wisdom to future brides? RELAX and let everyone else do the job for you that day and have a schedule for every minute and brief all the staff, it will make everything go really smooth.
Thank you so much Beatrice and Angelo for sharing your amazing Italian wedding on the WTW blog. Huge thanks too to Francesca Secolonovo, such beautiful, beautiful images.

Wow, love this! If I didn’t get married in OZ I would have definitely chosen Italy. Beautiful photos and scenery. I want to go back! x
