Professional venue stylers Linen & Lace show us how to design the perfect rustic-glam wedding tablescape today! It’s rich with gorgeous decor and details, pretty floral blooms, lush foliage and metallic accents… a blissful blend between old and new…
For some couples, making decisions on how to style their wedding day can be very confusing and overwhelming. From colour schemes, styles, the latest trends together with the thousands of pinterest images that you’re faced with can make it a hugely daunting task.
Sam and I are often coming up with various styling ideas and jump at any opportunity to organise or get involved in styled shoots, mini shoots and any kind of styling opportunities to showcase our work and try to help couples find some clarity amidst the craziness of wedding décor ideas out there.
We were recently invited to take part in a ‘creative day’ along with other local suppliers by Rachel, a dorset based wedding planner. Rachel organised this day to allow local businesses an opportunity to get creative by showing off any new designs and styling ideas with the added bonus of a professional photographer snapping away for the day!
The location was set in a quaint village in the rural dorset countryside, with lush green surroundings. So with this location in mind we thought we would inspire you with a romantic rustic-glam vibe for our tablescape. We adore anything old brought back to life so we used some reclaimed scaffold boards and gave them a lot of love to create a beautiful old table, these tables are usually fairly easy to hire in if your venue doesn’t have them.
We used a green garland full of lovely foliage to add a fresh, earthy feel and combined this with metallics, candle light and cut crystal to add an elegant glamorous feel. The simple, yet pretty mini floral arrangements and stationery complimented the set up perfectly and we finished the chairs off with some dreamy drapes and hand tied floral chair backs. We adore this tablescape, it has to be one of our favourites!
