POMEGRANATE BEAUTY INSPIRATION
Pomegranate is the latest trend in bridal beauty and this outstanding editorial by Francesca Ragone, lookmaker and founder of Beyouty, proves it right. An ancient Persian poem says, “her cheeks are just like a pomegranate’s flowers and her lips are pomegranate juice”: a real ode to feminine beauty using the metaphoric meaning of this fruit that stands for union and fertility.
Now, would you like to achieve the same result? Follow this four-step tutorial and embrace the beauty of pomegranate colours!
- FOUNDATION
Prepare your skin by applying a light layer of foundation. Make sure the colour matches your skin colour. The foundation here was applied with Temptu Airbrush for an even more natural result!
- EYES
Focus on the eyes first. This make-up effect is called “Smokey Eyes”, achieved here by using Neve Cosmetics pomegranate colour pigment. The degradé effect has been achieved by combining the pomegranate colour with a terracotta pigment. These two colours match perfectly, don’t they?
- LIPS
Nothing must be left to chance, lips play an essential role! Draw the lips contour with the same colour pencil, then apply the lipstick. Finally, apply some metallic shaded pigments to get the iridescent touch!
- CHEEKS
Apply peach rose blush on your cheeks to give a healthy final touch to your face.
Want to wholly embrace the pomegranate bridal inspiration? The headpiece clearly reminds us of pomegranate seeds, all close to each other and standing for the union between a bride and bridegroom.
Should you wear any other headpiece that still makes a statement in your look, go for a head bun: it will help the observer focus their attention on your head accessory!
