A Stylish Botanical Wedding Editorial in a Grand English Mansion
Botanical chic was the underlying theme for this stylish wedding editorial set at Hawkstone Hall in England. Hawkstone Hall is a beautiful and historic wedding venue nestled in the Shropshire countryside in the west midlands.
Not only does it feature a stunning ballroom and light and airy winter garden room, but the Hall also boasts its very own grand chapel, making it the perfect place for those wishing to have their ceremony & reception all in one venue.

Wedding Colours
Using warm accents of peach, pink, beige, gold & grey against the cool green foliage in the ornate winter garden room, this shoot offers perfect inspiration for couples looking for editorial, light-infused wedding ideas.
The Bridal Look
Loved up real-life couple were the bride & groom models for the day starting off with the first look at the altar, followed by a beautiful mock-up of an intimate wedding ceremony.
The bride wore an ultra-stylish Badgley Mischka fitted mermaid gown with feature puff sleeves (detachable) and bow to the back. This was paired with stunning pink suede Vivienne Westwood stilettos.
Hair & Makeup
The beauty team styled the bride’s hair in a low twisted ponytail with wavy segments of hair framing the face. Make-up was kept natural, glowy & fresh, with extended lashes and pinky nude cheeks & lips.
The Grooms Look
In keeping with the chic and stylish theme, the groom wore slim fit black tuxedo trousers, with a white dress shirt, black bow tie and navy floral suede dinner jacket (groom’s own).
The Stationery
The Little Paper Shop designed a clean and sophisticated invitation suite with a mix of pink, beige & grey tones featuring printed gold and embossed text. The suite included a wedding invitation, details card, RSVP, and a feature envelope with a gorgeous line drawing of Hawkstone Hall in gold.
The Cake
Hunkington House Kitchen created a two-tier ivory wedding cake with a stunning impressed floral design into the icing. This was accompanied by 2 smaller, complimenting cakes on separate glass plinths and hand-made macarons, finished off with edible gold leaf.
The Table Setting
The amazing winter garden room was the backdrop for many of our Bride & Groom portraits. With impressive floor to ceiling windows which flooded the room with natural light and an incredible mosaic floor, it was the perfect setting for striking photos.
This room also featured a romantic and intimate table set for six, ideal for those wanting a smaller wedding. Each setting was complete with tableware by the hall, hand died silk napkins by Lancaster & Cornish, and a name card with a gold line drawing of the Hall under a semi-translucent vellum overlay by The Little Paper Shop.
The table was styled with a grey silk runner, vintage gold candlesticks and beige & grey taper candles. A stunning mix of specialist roses & harmonizing foliage made up the floral centrepieces; including a coordinating hand-tied bridal bouquet by TMS Events.
The Photography
Photographer and shoot organiser Victoria Amrose says: “The favourite part of the shoot for me was working in the beautiful winter garden room. There is an abundance of natural light, with evergreen foliage making it a perfect setting for year-round photos. We absolutely loved working on this chic & sophisticated styled shoot.
