Wedding Ideas: An Elegant White Spring Themed Wedding Shoot at Eaves Hall

A White Spring Themed Wedding Shoot at Eaves Hall.

My inspiration for this white spring-themed wedding shoot came from the venue itself, there was no other perfect place to create this concept other than the stunning venue, Eaves Hall. It is an exclusive country house set in the gorgeous Ribble Valley, with breathtaking architecture and spring blossoms all around its exquisite grounds.

I was also inspired by wedding photographer Emily Robinson’s work and wanted to create a styled wedding shoot of my own, choosing a style I love… classic, timeless & elegant wedding inspiration.

The Bridal Look

I wanted to create a flawless and glamourous makeup look, enhancing Louisa’s natural beauty and features.  Taking inspiration from my concept for the shoot I went for a Hollywood style of makeup with a modern feel. A red lip, feminine and flattering yet daring and powerful. A lot of brides often have pink or nude-toned lipstick on their wedding day, I wanted to show how amazing a red lip can also look.  Louisa’s hair was styled by Colette, she created a sophisticated hair up complemented with crystal flora hairpins from Earth Links Bridal.

Louisa wore ‘Nisha’ a Blue By Enzoani dress from Lulu Browns Bridal. The alluring plunge back is complimented with illusion side cut-outs and delicate beaded straps. The front of the dress has a plunging v neckline, figure-hugging fit & chantilly lace which enhanced the elegance and style.  Louisa also wore Art Deco Chandelier earrings from Earth Links Bridal.

The Theme

A white spring themed wedding was brought to life by the amazing florals from Honeys Hideaway. She used a mixture of seasonal foliage and white spring scented flowers including tulips, roses, magnolia and blossom branches to create a beautiful bridal bouquet and floral arch, which was the perfect backdrop for the shoot.

Stacey from Love Paper Co incorporated modern minimal designed stationery paired with delicate textures with vellum and silk ribbon into the shoot, bringing together the look we wanted alongside the styling.

By using a natural colour palette, whilst introducing muted green touches, modern tableware, mixed with traditional cut glasses and accessories, Sarah from Stories of Events created a classic look with a modern feel, much like the venue itself.

The Cake

Elizabeth Anna Cake Design wanted to keep the cake elegant white on white with only the fresh foliage adding colour to the cake and she used bas relief to bring an element of texture to the cake. As hexagon tiers are continuing to be a popular trend, separators like the beautiful geometric stand from Prop Options added interface and dimension to the heigh of the cake.

The Film

On the day Clique Visuals created a video, capturing the essence and beauty of the shoot as well as the intimate moments between the couple.

Such elegant wedding inspiration. Who doesn’t love a pretty, white-themed spring wedding?
