Frix and I met at School when we were just sixteen and have known each other since! We kept in touch over the years but only came back together a few years after University. And as they say, the rest is history. Frix proposed on our anniversary whilst out on a walk in the park with our dogs, it was just us four and it was perfect! I didn’t even give him a chance to ask me the question before saying YES!
Beautiful Wedding in Greece With Caribbean Influences
I loved my Pronovious dress as soon as I put it on! I had tried on a few dresses in other stores, but when I put this one on, it fit perfectly.
My Father walked me down the aisle to ‘Kissing You’ by Des’ree, which was sung by Jai Amore and guitar accompaniment by Wesley.
We decided to style the day like we did because we wanted to incorporate both of our cultures. We were having the wedding in Greece, so through the flowers and colours we brought the Caribbean in.
My most memorable moment was just after Frix and I got married and we shared a quiet moment together just the two of us in all the craziness of the day, it was lovely to have just us two. Also when we all started the Greek dancing.
I would advise any future brides and grooms to try and enjoy it as much as possible as the day itself goes very quickly! I would also advise getting a wedding planner to help out and also a great photographer and videographer! Because it passes so quickly, it’s lovely to be able to relive it through photos and videos.
