Our wedding venue, Froyle Park Country Estate in Alton was gorgeous. We had a mixed cultural wedding, Filipino (Bride) and Nigerian (Groom). We had a Christian wedding ceremony.

The dress was from Wed2B “Tate” and was a strapless mermaid dress. The belt detail was also from Wed2B and was sewn on. The dress silhouette was classic, elegant and timeless, which is exactly what I was looking for. I especially loved the Mikado material, with its subtle shine.
Our wedding was all about colour, and Afia our florist really captured that, not only in the décor, but especially in the flowers. We had rich violets, reds, oranges, and yellows. The bouquets were full and were arranged in the most lovely way.
My father walked me down the aisle to Yes, The Swan by Saint Sains. It was one of my most memorable moments.
Our wedding was inspired by colour! We both love colour. We didn’t want to have the regular white wedding, we wanted bold and elegant. Our favourite colours are green, blue, and gold, and went with jewel tones for the wedding. The main colours were Emerald and Sapphire, with gold details, and other jewel tones to tie it all together.
If we could impart any words of wisdom we would say… Hire a wedding planner! It’s an extra cost, yes, but the extra labour, hours, planning, and co-ordinating, that gets done for you is priceless. The wedding planner takes that on and then some, leaving you stress-free on the day.
