We wanted a country-themed wedding with a modern twist. Our venues were both navy blue so we chose pink and white as a contrast with navy blue accents to match the venue. The bridesmaids also wore navy.
We had been together for six years, yet randomly decided in the same week to propose to each other. Angus got in there first, two days before Ben was planning to propose to him. Angus used the antique pocket watch to propose with.
Many of our guests have said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, mainly due to the excellent entertainment, food and upbeat atmosphere.
We had two maids of honour, and we each walked with one of them down the aisle to Tom Walker – You and I.
If we could impart any wisdom to future couples, we would say…
Don’t leave anything to the last minute.
Keep a book with all your notes in it.
Choose your wedding party wisely.
