With all that mind, we thought we’d look to a super clean and light colour palette of soft gold and white. Though white is usually a given in any wedding palette, giving it top of the bill with touches of one other subtle colour can be incredibly chic. Think of white for details beyond your wedding gown; florals, venue styling, table centres, crockery and the tiniest details right down to ribbons and makeup and the ink used on your stationery.
Soft gold is a metallic which may have been overshadowed by our recent love of all things metallic; copper, gold, rose gold, silver etc. But it’s a versatile colour, which compliments white beautifully. It keeps things light, soft and fresh. What else could you possibly need from a Spring colour palette? There is something undeniably classic about soft gold too. It’s less bold and loud than its shinier metallic sister. Think of old gilt frames where their original shine has dulled with time or the soft beaded detail on a dress. This palette is also textural. Keeping everything soft and matte, layered and restrained is the simplest and classiest way to raise your wedding game, right up into the ‘fine art’ echelons of bridal style.
