HAPPY FRIDAY lovelies! Oooo you are in for a real treat :)) Today’s pretty coral and lace styled bridal shoot will have you feeling all lovely and summery.
Coral is one of the key colour trends for weddings in 2014 and when paired with delicate lace detailing, it makes a super pretty combination that I’m sure you’ll love. Enjoy!
A few words from Ilaria, the photographer:
I LOVE weddings; all weddings! I love the uniqueness, the attention to details… oh the details!! Seeing the couple’s personalities translated into a personalised guest book, flowers, hair, make up and the food… everything; It is beautiful.
With this shoot I wanted to take a step back to basics and create a pure, feminine and sophisticated look. Windsor and Eton brides was just the perfect venue for this. The white and utterly stunning decor just laid out the absolute perfect settings for us to achieve the look we were going for. An elegant and sophisticated space; perfect.
I absolutely loved working with such amazing and talented suppliers. Everyone worked incredibly hard. Seeing it all come together on the day was just wonderful – we had a lot of fun too!
A few words from Sarah, the make up artist:
This was my first styled shoot as a makeup artist and the theme coral and lace really inspired me, especially with the spring season. I created three different looks and focused each one on a different feature, eyes, cheeks and lips. I wanted the whole effect to be very delicate like lace, but for each look to have something special about it that popped.
With the eyes I used a vibrant coral on the lids, sweeping into a petal shape in the outer corners. For the cheeks I went with a strong shape and highlighted with a golden glitter. The lips were where I really let the colour speak for itself, bright and deep with a fully defined line, my signature look as Mother Lipstick!
A few words from Janni, the florist:
When I first heard about the theme, I was really excited. For me vintage, coral and lace is a match made in heaven. Vintage is all about good memories and I wanted to create exactly that; flowers infused with lovely memories.
Sometimes we don’t always have our beloved grandma, auntie or whoever stood close to our heart with us on the special day. I wanted to incorporate beautiful jewellery into the flowers as a symbol of special people. A bridal bouquet should be 100% personal and not just a copy from a magazine.
Such a pretty little shoot don’t you think?! I love the combination of lace and pretty coral, and isn’t the wedding cake absolutely amazing?! I LOVE the coral with lace overlay! Coral also makes such a chic statement colour for the lips instead of the usual pinks or reds.
Thanks so much to the talented team who worked on this mini shoot and the wonderful photographer Ilaria Petrucci.
