Romantic Lavender & Lilac Wedding in Florence: Melissa & Mohammed

Melissa & Mohammed had such a beautiful big day and were supported by a host of talented wedding suppliers. Melissa looked breathtaking in her Jenny Yoo inspired gown and their destination wedding was organised to perfection by The Tuscan Wedding.

My wedding dress was a Jenny Yoo inspired gown made in Vietnam and was chosen as it made me feel like a princess.

We had the ceremony and the wedding reception at the Castello di Vincigliata, in Florence, Tuscany, my Father walked me down the aisle to ‘Yellow’ by Coldplay.

One of my most memorable moments was saying I do surrounded by our closest families and friends and of course, with a beautiful view of the Tuscan hills.

I let the castle speak for itself by simply accenting it with tasteful floral designs and a soft colour scheme of lavender and lilac.

The floral designs used in the table settings matched the bridesmaids dresses with that same soft colour palette. This was a beautiful way to keep the consistency in the colours.

I also had similar colours in my wedding bouquet too, which again, added just enough colour in front of my wedding dress.

Our best wedding advice would be to have a good wedding planner, especially if you are planning a destination wedding with guests from all over the world.
