It only took one look at Prior Park College to decide this was the place to be married. The views across the beautiful city of Bath from the Portico are insanely stunning and the perfect place for the ceremony. There are so many beautiful rooms to spread the day across for the different periods of the day.

We chose a colour palette of white, sage green, and soft gold accents elevated with pale blush touches. We chose the elegant and sophisticated Portico as the setting for our ceremony, and the space was filled with flowers.
A deconstructed floral arch framed the Georgian pillars, overlooking the beautiful views of Bath. Floral meadows lined the aisle, and the aisle chairs were dressed with a simple sage green ribbon on the shoulder.
Our wedding breakfast was held in Academy Hall, a stunning, light-filled space with original architectural details. So as not to detract from the splendour of the space, the styling was elegant and simple with an abundance of bud vases positioned in the alcoves around the room. We chose to sit at a sweetheart table for two, surrounded by flowers. Guests were seated at round tables, featuring low centrepieces, tea lights and candles which added to the romantic atmosphere.
The table styling was elevated with white linens, sage green napkins, gold-rimmed chargers, glassware and gold cutlery. A single white rose was placed at each setting.
We chose wedding favours for each guest – as a nod to Claire’s Welsh ancestry, Welsh love spoons were given to the ladies, and the men received small, engraved whiskey bottles.
